The AAMT (American Association for Medical Transcription) has a list of Medical Transcription Education Programs which have been approved by the Approval Committee for Certificate Programs (ACCP), a joint committee established by AAMT and AHIMA for certifying and approving medical transcription education programs. ACCP approval is not a guarantee, so consumers are responsible for their own research and should speak to the schools with any questions or concerns.
