Telephone Data Collector

Westat is looking for at-home experienced telephone data collectors. This is home-based work located in the United States. The job is part-time. You will collect research data while working from home. It's preferred that you have previous transportation study experience. The primary responsibility of this job is to ask questions on different subjects like education, environment, health and transportation. It is required that you have a clear speaking voice. Most work is available during weekday evenings and on weekends.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have telephone data collection experience
  • Must provide a voice sample
  • Must have a working and reliable computer and printer (Apple/Mac not allowed)
  • Must have dependable high speed Internet service
  • Must have the ability to be on the Internet (DSL or cable) and a land line (corded) simultaneously
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to pass a federally mandated personal background check
  • Must be able to work at least 15 hours per week. These hours will primarily be evening and/or weekend hours.
