This page contains a summary of information about Pearson. To learn more, please visit their website. (There is a link at the bottom of this page.)
What does Pearson do?
Pearson develops and publishes many educational materials, including curriculum and standardized testing. They also hire people to score these tests, and many scorers can work from home.
The last I heard, Pearson pays at-home scorers $10/hour, with opportunities to make more. People who are bilingual or are willing to work after 7 p.m. may be able to earn more. Earnings are paid via direct deposit.
To work as a scorer with Pearson, you must have a Bachelor's degree or great from a United States college or university. In addition, you must have a quiet workplace and reliable phone and Internet connection. Finally, be advised that Pearson only hires U.S. citizens, resident aliens, and people who are legally allowed to work in the United States.
How to Apply
