Mystery Shopping with Feedback Plus
What is mystery shopping?
As you may be aware, mystery shopping is a way businesses can tell if the employees in their establishments are performing their jobs as expected. The mystery shopper will utilize scenarios in which the shopper will pose as a "real" customer. They will interact with the business and its employees just as if they were actual customers. The shopper will have prior knowledge of exactly what they should be observing and recording. Shoppers should always keep their identities completely secret so that they will not influence the behavior of the employees at the location. You must always be able to pay attention to detail and follow specific instructions.
Mystery shopping is usually a fun job, but it is a business. As such, you must always be able to act in a professional manner. You will need to be very attentive so that you can record names, events, and times in memory while performing a shop so that they can record them later. You are not usually allowed to take notes DURING the shop, as this would most likely give away the fact that you are a mystery shopper.
Employee or Independent Contractor?
When you work with Feedback Plus, you will not be an employee. Instead, you will be an independent contractor. As such, you may perform one or many mystery shops for Feedback. In addition, you can also perform shops for other mystery shopping companies so that you don't have to solely depend on work available from Feedback Plus.
Because many clients are sometimes concerned with the demographic profile of their customers, they will sometimes require that the shopper represents a particular profile. So that these requests can be fulfilled, each shopper will be required to reveal certain information about themselves. This will create a unique demographic profile so that they can be matched with jobs. This information will always be kept private and confidential by Feedback Plus.
