Book Review: Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult

I am officially a huge fan of the author Jodi Picoult. She doesn't write simple, easy to read, breeze right through them girly books. I do enjoy a good girly romance once in a while, but Jodi Picoult's books touch on much harder, serious topics, like murder, prison, lies and more. Salem Falls is the third book by Jodi Picoult that I have read. In my opinion, it is not the best work that she has done, but was very engaging and difficult to put down, to say the least. In Salem Falls we meet Jack, who was just released from prison after serving 8 months for a crime that he was innocent of, yet plead guilty to in order to not have a trial and all that entails. He moves to a new town, where he must register as a sexual offender. Before he knows it,he stands accused of the same crime he was convicted of less than a year before. I just couldn't put the book down, I had to find out what happened to Jack! I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys serious topics in a novel.
